A special examination of prospective candidates for the office of Lewis County Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) will be conducted at the Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo) Building, 400 Englewood Drive, Frankfort, Kentucky, on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. EST. This examination is open to Lewis County residents only. Identification will be required.
Qualified persons who pass the examination will be eligible for appointment by the Governor to serve as interim PVA for the remainder of the term.
In addition, the executive committee of each party may nominate a qualified candidate for placement on the November 6, 2018 general election and qualified independent and political organization/group candidates may be nominated by petition.
Pre-registration is requested but not required.
