Report Tax Evasion/Tax Fraud
The Division of Special Investigations (DSI) has investigated hundreds of state tax crimes and has taken many of these cases to court. The most common charges we see include:
Income tax evasion, whether by under-reporting income or not filing at all.
Theft of sales, withholding, and transient room taxes.
Writing bad checks to the Department of Revenue for tax payments.
If you suspect an individual or a business may be evading taxes or committing tax fraud, please report the information to us. Our investigators will review your information, work to independently verify, and take the appropriate action.
